We’re not theorists. We’re practitioners. Build Blueprint was created by a house builder who’s managed and delivered over 100 homes for the private market and social housing.
Successful property development needs more than capital and a spreadsheet. It needs accurate build knowledge, firm cost control, reliable sequencing and the ability to solve problems on site.
Our experience is rooted in construction so we assess opportunities against the practical realities of delivering them. This helps identify buildability issues, abnormal costs, programme risks and design challenges before they undermine the development.
We bring construction-led appraisal, programme knowledge, procurement capability, professional team coordination and principal contractor delivery to each selected partnership.
Too many people enter property development relying on theory, unreliable advice or guesswork. This leads to delays, cost overruns and failed projects.
What makes us different
Our distinction is that our advice and decision making are grounded in current, practical experience of delivering homes on live construction sites. We have a vast amount of experience in dealing with issues that don’t often get talked about: no show subcontractors, adverse weather, damaged deliveries, thieves and vandals, health and safety matters, cash flow issues and much more. There are ways of dealing with all of these situations that are a real factor during any build process.

Founder: Daniel Riding
Daniel is an experienced house builder and principal contractor who has personally delivered over 100 homes across multiple developments. His experience covers private housing, social housing, site infrastructure and principal contractor delivery.

Designed, built and sold a small new build housing development to a large regional housing association.

Principal Contractor for the first 85 homes of a 110-home development. We directly constructed 63 homes with a subcontractor delivering a further 22 homes under our principal contractor management. We were also responsible for the site infrastructure including roads and sewers (Sections 38 and 104), remediation, vibro ground improvement, SuDS, services.
